Introduction: eMail Alert regularly scans your mailboxes and notifies you when new messages are available. It plays sounds, displays dialog boxes, activates applications and AppleScripts and sends Apple events to other applications. With eMail Alert, you can send short messages and read full messages in your mailbox without running your regular e-mail client. eMail Alert includes several sound alerts, an option for bringing eMail Alert to the foreground and a drop-down menu for choosing how often eMail Alert should check for new mail.
