Introduction: Insider Software's SpaceAgent can help clean up your Web pages of excess, unnecessary data so your pages download quicker.It removes unneeded information from HTML, XML and JavaScript Web pages. It also gets rid of unnecessary data from GIFs and JPEGs. The usual result is a Web site that is about 20 percent to 30 percent smaller, and 40 percent to 50 percent faster.The Web site we tested it on was about 6.6 percent smaller, and about 10 percent faster.SpaceAgent worked easily and quickly to clean up this particular site, and although the results weren't as great as 20 percent to 50 percent, the Web site tested isn't that large, and isn't filled with lots of large graphics. New in version 2.5: Improved Javascript, XML, and ASP optimization. Various UI improvements. New report format. The demo can now optimize a single Web page.
