Introduction: Rainbow Notes is a Java application that can be run on any EPOC device with an installed Java Virtual Machine. It allows the user to edit and play melodies. The program supports up to seven polyphonic voices, and each voice can be edited. Rainbow Notes was originally an applet written by Karl Hvrnell, but it has been modified for the EPOC platform. Four different melodies are included with the program.
