Introduction: This network monitor can ping a server, monitor ICMP, TCP ports, check HTTP URLs, test FTP links, check disk space usage, execute external commands, check databases through ODBC and monitor MS-SQL servers. It can also check NT event logs, processes and NT services. You can write your own script checks using JS and VBS, or any other script provider. The program runs checks at regular intervals and activates pre-defined alerts on given conditions. It can sound alerts, send e-mail, execute external programs, or execute user-written Java or VB scripts. It can be set to restart NT services, reboot computers and write to the NT event log. The program tabulates check failure statistics and supports the ability to export data to XML and HTML files.
