Introduction: This is a handy application that includes an address book, calculator, text editor, picture viewer and file utility. In the address book, you may select one or several contacts to be exported as a text file, or imported from a different Mac. The calculator option has more functions than the one that comes with your Mac, such as a double operator and the "M+" button which will also copy the result into clipboard. The text editor lets you create, open or drop-in text and text files and edit or save them as SimpleText-compatible formatted files. The picture viewer allows you to drop in a picture or a picture file for viewing. And the movie player is a QuickTime viewer inside a window. Finally, the file utility option is a way to manage the files on your hard disk. In addition, you may also set McAssist to be a start-up item on you Mac.
