Introduction: Hermetic File Search application is for indexing and searching HTML files, text files or files of a similar kind (e.g., XML files) on CD, a hard disk, etc. It indexes every word in every file, and any file containing a particular set of words (or any of those words, or an exact phrase) can be found by searching for those words. It consists of two modules: An index module used to create an index of the searchable files, and a search module used to search those files.
