Introduction: Flight Plan is another VFR flight planning tool to be added to the growing number of Pilot-related applications available for the EPOC platform.The software doesn't deviate from the normal process of VFR flight planning. Using an editable database of both aircraft and waypoint data, each leg is planned and calculations are performed for true track, magnetic heading, variation, deviation and wind velocity. Let's not forget IAS and TAS too! Radio frequencies for each leg can also be recorded depending on which ATC you may be required to speak with.As a private pilot myself, I have tested many of these types of applications. I personally found Flight Plan to be one of the easiest to use, with some nice shortcuts to calculations such as a crosswind component, takeoff distances and so on.
