Introduction: GradeBook1 is a useful and easy to use program for tracking student scores in elementary self contained classrooms. Entry to the program is password protected. The password must be atleast 5 characters and can be up to 20 characters long. The default password is "teacher". The default password will be restored each time you create a new GradeBookFile. Track scores for each student in up to seven academic areas. Hundreds of students can be tracked once the product registration code has been entered. GradeBook1 comes with a preset grade scale, but you can easily modify it by choosing GRADE SCALE from the MANAGEMENT menu. Work is automatically saved as you enter items and make changes. No need to worry about "save early and save often". Backup is easy. Simply choose BACKUP from the MANAGEMENT menu, click the BACKUP button, and choose a location to save your backup file to. Remember to backup your file frequently and keep your backups in a safe place! The GradeBookFile you want to access must be in the same folder with the GradeBook1 program. The GradeBookFile must be named exactly "GradeBookFile". Don't rename it. When you create a new GradeBookFile a new blank GradeBookFile with the default password is created in the same folder with the GradeBook1 program. A pre-existing GradeBookFile in this folder will be destroyed when the new one is generated. Make sure you backup your old GradeBookFile before creating a new one!
