Introduction: Easy Half Life is a useful computer simulation of how a scientists determines the half life of a radio active isotope. The program plots the decay curve of the isotope and instructs students how to use the curve to determine the half life of a series of real elements. After the demonstration phase, student progress to a practice session in which they investigate the half life of unknow isotopes.
