Introduction: This is a depth-of-field calculator developed for amateur photographers. It calculates near and far focuses as well as diffraction limits on these distances, hyperfocal distance, and projections of the circle of confusion on film plane onto minimal spot on the object plane. Calculations can be done in either metric (meters and millimeters) or imperial (feet and inches) units.
