Introduction: Bible Quiz is a software that comes with Bible questions. A few years ago I had an idea for getting students to read their Bibles on a daily basis: assign them passages to read during the week, then have a competitive quiz over those chapters each week. That worked for a couple students. The rest continued to ignore God's Word and just guessed at the questions. Sometimes they would cram a week's worth of chapters into one period before the quiz. Thus the idea for this Bible Quiz program emerged. In short, this is what is supposed to happen: at the beginning of the month (or week, or year . . .) the student is given a list of passages he is supposed to read each evening. After reading the passage, he is quizzed; eg., he reads the appropriate passage for Monday evening, then Tuesday morning takes a short quiz (5-7 questions) over that passage. The grade he earns on all the quizzes are averaged together and counted as part of his Bible grade for the year (or they could count as a separate "Bible Quiz" grade.) The trick is to design questions that will be easy enough for the student to answer if he has read the passage, but tricky to guess at if he has not. This program is brand new and has gone through no real-time testing.
